Zelestra secures €13 million green financing from BPER for Ginosa and Bellomo solar projects in Italy
The approximately €13 million senior debt package relates to the construction of the Ginosa (Puglia, 6.5 MWdc) and Bellomo (Sicily, 9.3 MWdc) solar plants. The transaction was signed with the Italian bank BPER. Together, the projects will displace an estimate of 8,500 tons of CO2 emission per year and generate enough clean electricity to power the equivalent of 10,000 Italian homes.
Zelestra secures contract in Italy’s second FER X auction for a solar project of up to 108 MW
The auction result has secured a contract for Zelestra’s largest solar project in Italy, with a capacity of up to 108 MW in Sicily. Zelestra also recently secured contracts for 60 MW across 8 projects in the first FER X auction at the start of December.

Zelestra signs agreement to sell Latin America platform to Promigas S.A.
Zelestra’s Latin America platform includes 1.4 GW of solar and battery energy storage contracted capacity, out of which 1.0 GW are projects in operation or under construction, and a portfolio of 2.1 GW+ of projects under advanced development in Chile, Peru and Colombia. Zelestra continues its transformation into a leading multi-technology, customer-centric platform, with a core strategic focus on Europe and the U.S.

Zelestra secures 60 MW of new solar capacity in Italy’s FER X auction
The auction result reinforces Zelestra’s growing position in Italy’s energy transition, following the recent announcement of a major 2 GWh BESS project in northern Italy. Zelestra has secured contracts for 60 MW across 8 projects out of which 80% located in Northern Italy.

The inauguration event was attended by Alipio García Rodríguez, Director General of Energy Transition for Castilla-La Mancha, Rubén García Ortega, Provincial Delegate for Sustainable Development in Guadalajara, and Sergio de la Fuente Gumiel, First Deputy Mayor of Pastrana. The 50.4 MWdc José Cabrera solar plant will generate 83 GWh of clean energy per year. The project is one of three in Spain enabled via a long-term PPA with Graphic Packaging International, adding over 100 MWdc of new solar power capacity — with 70% of the output linked to renewable electricity guarantees of origin for Graphic Packaging.
The project in Albacete (Spain), was built and connected on schedule by Zelestra’s internal EPC division. With a total capacity of 33 MWdc, the project will generate 65 GWh of clean energy per year, enough to power 18,000 homes. Socovos II is one of three solar plants enabled by a long-term virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) between Zelestra and Graphic Packaging International, which together add over 100 MWdc of new solar capacity.
Zelestra has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement with Microsoft for two solar projects in Zaragoza, Aragon with a total capacity of 95.7 MWac. The PPA includes a community benefits initiative wherein Aragon-based nonprofit ECODES will lead grant-making activities to support community-led sustainability initiatives
