Hear the views of Zelestra's CEO, Leo Moreno, in a new episode of the Zelestra's Co-Powered Podcast.
In a wide ranging conversation, Leo explores a host of topics covering all things Zelestra and global renewable energy sector trends.
From a look inside the meetings and conversations with clients that delivered incredible successes in 2025 (signing 3 GW of agreements with customers globally), the view for 2026 (focus on US and Europe and and up to 3 GWh of energy storage to start construction), to the exponential growth of AI and how that will shape the renewables sector, the role of wind and storage in delivering 24/7 clean energy solutions, and the sharp focus on grid resiliency.
Leo highlights that 2025 was the year that Zelestra turned strategic choices into tangible success.
Our customer-focused strategy yielded results – 3 GW of new long-term agreements secured – becoming a top tier global developer.
We proved that Zelestra is a genuine multi-technology company – with solar, BESS and wind successes - and this is a competitive advantage.
A very important decision was made to focus on Europe and the US.
Going forward – Leo discusses his vision of the new Zelestra.
In 2026, he points out that Zelestra has four main targets:
Growth. To cement global customer relationships to deliver further growth - additional 2.7 GW to be contracted in Europe and the US in 2026.
Execution. 2.5 GW anticipated in operations or construction in US and Europe, building on our flawless execution to date.
Advancing our multi-technology journey. 3 GWh of energy storage to start construction, as well as a major wind project.
We will achieve scale in Italy and Germany, key growth markets, establishing “gigawatt-level” markets in both countries.
